May Day

Happy International Workers Day to all our comrades grinding in the trenches while Katy Perry and her cadre of spendthrifts are spending their time in “space”. Let’s just remind ourselves that Unions and workers are under constant attack by this current administration and only through collective action and standing united can we protect what we have.

Here in Vermont, Migrant Justice is continuing their Milk With Dignity Campaign to protect dairy workers and is currently focusing on Hannaford Supermarkets as the target of protests.

The Vermont Workers' Center continues to agitate and inform Vermonters about the dangers of cuts to Medicare and Medicaid that are being bandied about in DC – and what the impact will have on your family, friends and community.

Also here is a nice reminder of the struggle for workers rights here in Vermont.
